Amherst Marching Song, 1929 |
|
|
The composer, Edward M. Durban, was a member of the Class of 1906. Some of the lyrics
featured inside: "Here's to good old Yale, drink her down/But it's Amherst we
love so well/Far above Cayuga's Waters, Hail, oh hail Cornell/We'll not forget you dear
old Princeton with your Tiger tried and true/Hail Pennsylvania, here's a cheer for the
Red and the Blue/And Old Johnny Harvard we greet you, my boy, and the rest of the old
family/But it's cheer for old Amherst, Amherst must win, fight for the victory..." |
