This is a 1924 letter from President Olds to George L. Nichols, replying to Nichols' letter and expressing a desire to see Nichols during the President's visit to Chicago. Olds was the ninth president of Amherst, a long-time professor and dean at the College, and served from 1923 to 1927. He died in Amherst in 1931. |
