Stone Hall


Stone Hall is named for Harlan Fiske Stone, a member of the class of 1894, a Justice of the Supreme Court by appointment of President Coolidge, and Chief Justice from 1941 until his death in 1946.
 



 
The dormitory, known as "B Dorm" when it was completed in 1964, was officially named in January of 1966. (Archives & Special Collections, Buildings and Grounds Collection, box 19, folder 24). (Photographs taken 12 October 2001).
